1. Check the user’s manual to see that the laptop has the capability of
upgrading and supports various types of drives. Usually the types of drive modules consist
of CD-ROM drive, DVD-ROM drive, and Zip drive. 2. Dell Dimension 5000 comes with a CD-ROM
drive module with an optional DVD-ROM drive module installed in the media
bay. 3. The computer has to be turned off during
the swapping of media bay. Therefore,
you need to make sure the power is off.
Save and close any open files, exit any open application programs, and
shut down the computer. 4. Remove the device from the media bay: A. Close the display and turn the
computer over. B. Slide and hold the latch release in
the middle of the media bay. C. Pull the device out of the media bay.
(CD-ROM drive) 5. Insert the device (DVD-ROM) into the media
bay and push in the device until you see and hear the latch
release click. 6. Turn the computer on. Instruction

http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/Home.jsp 2. Choose the product and enter information for
purchasing. 3. Download software from the web site by clicking
DOWNLOAD and OPEN the downloaded files. 4. Computer will automatically open the files and creates
an icon on the desktop. 5. Double click the icon and enter activation code. |
